Riverside Golf Results for w/c June 21st  2026

The chill may have been in the air, but there were some red hot shots played over the past week. One being the magnificent Hole In One on the Par three, 18th Hole, by long time Member, Bill Beckwith. Congratulations Bill.

Sunday the 21st was a Medley Stableford in two Grades.

After a battle with Michael Reid, Nic Cairns walked away with the win in A Grade, with both he and Michael completing rounds of 38 points.

A score of 36 points was all Bailey Anderson needed to collect the B Grade win, with a three way countback required to determine runner up. It was Bruce Liddell who came out the better in that race, leaving Maylynn Sefo and Luke Jeffers behind, all on 35 points.

Balls (15) 33 points on a countback.

NTP’s : Zilzie Wines 4th – Josh Fleming 280cm, 7th – Levi McManus 450cm and 18th – Bill Beckwith 0cm (A Hole In One).  

Neil Bryant had a lucky day on Monday, in the Medley Stableford, taking the win, after a countback with Cooper Mitchell, when both landed scores of 38 points.

Balls (4) 35 points on a countback.

NTP’s :  4th – Brian Young 238cm, 7th – Brian Young 132cm and 18th – Cooper Mitchell 340cm.

The Ladies played their nine hole Stableford on Tuesday, which saw Chitra Rankin pocket the win, on a nice 21 points. Tracy Lee took second place on 17 points, after a countback with Lauris Hicks.

Wednesday brought with it Par, for the Men, in two Grades, with countbacks needed in both.

Jason Bruhn, used his luck to capture the A Grade win, over Todd Bennett, both with (+2).

Tumu Tiere made B Grade his, after he pinched the win, over Robin Ferris, who settled for second place, after a countback, when both came in with a very fine (+3).

Balls (10) Square.

NTP’s : Zilzie Wines 4th – Rob Arnold 490cm, 7th – Tim Peterson 45cm, 12th – Ray Cottle 230cm, Sunbeam Fruits 17th – Roland Tankard 410cm and Good Deal Tyres 18th – Jason Marks 160cm.

It was Stableford for the Ladies on Thursday and Lyn Thompson roared around the course, to finish with an excellent 46 points, seven in front of her nearest rival, Suzy Conquest, in second place on 39 points.

Balls (3) 38 points.

NTP’s : Zilzie Wines 4th – Lyn Thompson 900cm, 7th – Gaye Briggs 125cm, 12th – Adel Dal Corobbo 380cm and 18th – Suzy Conquest 128.

Oscar Baumgurtel had a fantastic 24 points on Friday in the nine hole Medley Stableford, with a countback giving Travis Biddle runner up, over Gavin Minter, on 22 points.

Balls (12) 18 points on a countback.

The Ladies played for the Drummond Golf Voucher on Saturday, with Gaye Briggs smashing out a lovely 39 points for her win, in front of Sheryl Maddren’s 36 points.

NTP’s : 7th – Gaye Briggs 700cm, 12th – Ros Nash a Birdie and 18th – Margie Lampard 87cm.

The Men also contested Stableford on Saturday, which was played in three Grades.

With countbacks seemingly the flavour of the week, this comp kept the tradition going, in all Grades.

A three way countback in A Grade put Ronald Tankard on top, Jasper Robbins runner up and Ian Dickason pondering over what could have been, with 37 points coming from all.

Robert Digala underwent a countback with Graeme Southwell in B Grade, with Robert getting the win and Graeme accepting second place, both on 38 points.

Mitchell White had the round of the day, on a sizzling 41 points, to be the C Grade winner. A countback for second place went to Gaye Briggs, on 39 points, over Paul Graham.

Balls (23) 35 points on a countback.
